The SA Trivia Quiz is a short quiz (done on Twitter) that tests your general knowledge about anything South African. It contains questions about a vast array of topics, including but not limited to:
News, Politics, Sports, Entertainment, History, Geography, TV, Music, Celebs, Brands, etc.
The SAT quiz works as follows:
1. We post/tweet five questions at 20:00 - 20:05.
2. You tweet or DM (Direct Message)the answers to us.
3. The funny/wrong answers will be ReTweeted (so you laugh with us).
4. We post all five answers at 20:20.
5. The winner (#MainBrain) is the person with the fastest 5/5 (announced at 20:25).
It is that simple. The huge amount of tweets received though makes it impossible to reply to everyone as Twitter has a limit of 100 tweets per hour.
COMPETITION RULES:
From time to time we have sponsors/partners joining the fun. To make the competition fair to everyone we have to implement some rules and regulations. Prizes are not determined by SA_Trivia and is totally up to the relative sponsor/partner.
So, a few rules that will apply for all competitions:
1. You have to follow both @SA_Trivia and the relative sponsor/partner.
2. All answers will have to be tweeted, not Direct Message, in order to have a transparent system in place.
3. Participants may only win once per year (per specific competition).
4. Competition winners will have to contact the specific sponsor directly in order to claim their prize.
